"My contemporary work consists mainly of oil and acryl paintings or mixed media on canvas and art panels and of portraits (mainly graphite).
I make commissioned portraits on a regular basis. Each portrait forms a new challenge with the purpose of exposing the character of the subject as lively as possible.
Painting works for me as a total discharge; a form of expression and communication in another dimension which allows the spectator to move freely in another space...
I hunger for variation and love to experiment with colours and materials. This way I stay alert and each time every new creation is a new search and a new adventure. "
